Mandy's Grand Prix horse Little Tinka has been sold. She would be interested to hear from any owners who may have horses to compete at International level.

Mandy would also consider a riding job to enable her to continue her International career, all enquiries welcome.

Biography:

 

 


Born 1974 in England, Guy was educated at Solihull School 1981-1990

Guy began riding at the age of 8, he was GB National Young Riders Champion on two occasions and made the first of 16 appearances, as a member of the senior British Nations Cup Team, at the age of 19.

He competed successfully at most of the major national shows throughout Europe. In 1999 he moved to Germany to ride for the Paul Schockemohle stables where his work mainly involved producing young horses. In 2003 Guy moved to Holland to ride for Ger Poels and in 2005 returned to Germany to be based with Gilbert Bockman. In 2006 Guy and his partner Nicky von Roegsen set up their own business producing and training young horses, where they are based near Diepholz, Germany

Guy was long listed for the Olympic Games in Atlanta and Sydney and his ambition is to be selected to compete at the 2012 London Olympics.

Guy has achieved remarkable success throughout his career in Showjumping. He was National Champion with both Ponies and horses as a Young Rider. He is ambitious and enthusiastic about his sport, he has proved many times that he is capable of producing young horses to Nations Cup Team level and as a rider has the skill and determination to be competitive at the top level of the sport.

Riding "Sagrat" Guy won 12 out of the 13 Puissance classes that they competed in as well as being well placed in Nations Cup Teams.

 

Among Guy`s recent successes with Tinka´s Son is his Grand Prix win in San Sebastian 2009. Winner 1m50 class CSI Vimeiro 2009 and 2nd. CSI Grand Prix Roeser 2009.

 

In 2010 Guy is campaigning Tinka's Son, a horse capable of success at the top of the sport and, is looking foward to exciting International results on his home produced son of the legendary stallion, Tinka's Boy.
